Well, we are at the end of another week! And I must say I am pretty glad to have this one over – it's been a bit of a roller coaster one. Ups and downs and roundabouts. There may or may not have been tears, which may or may not have been mopped up with carrot cake.
In the middle of all this, though, Melbourne had some absolutely beautiful weather – perfect summer days in the middle of winter. I have had great big messy bee hive hair all week, which I think is reflecting the chaos of everything for me at the moment. (This pic also shows that massive scar on my back, which is going to be tattooed over/around soon. Soon soon soon. At some point soon.)
It's not all bad chaos, I must add; it's just having to empty out two bedrooms (and all our clothes) and find room for them in other parts of or little home, the kitchen shelves on the floor being painted (and kitchen shelves' contents on top of our clothes) and having no time to really tackle anything just yet makes for assault course living! Tomorrow (Saturday) should see some real progress though. Phew.
