Well, happy First Official Day of Winter to you! This morning we woke up to just-above-freezing temperatures and then the sun, after a stretch and a yawn and perhaps several cups of coffee, got itself going, so that by this afternoon it was beautiful, sunny and warm! I cancelled my much needed hair cut (I hate going the the hair dressers, it's a ridiculous irrational fear but there it is) and went on a bike ride.
I am wearing my make up in a much more 1940s inspired style, which I like with my very '40s hair, tied with a scarf and complete with, of course, a bow!
see how much I need my hair cut?!
Oh, to bike ride in the country sans helmet. Of course, the reality is a bit different...
... but enough of Serious Face. It was so nice – although pretty unusual! – to be able to wear so little in a Melbourne winter. It won't last, so I am making the most of it!
