I am back in the city after a bit of camping out in Wilsons Prom, the southernmost tip of mainland Australia. It was beautiful out there, but I am glad to be back home. After a couple of days of tough, sturdy clothes, I wore my most fragile garment: a vintage (1930s) silk blouse. It's all fine until I move that bit too much, and then vrrrrrp – a sleeve seam tears. I think I might just have to remove the sleeves completely if I want to wear this without getting holes every time. I love the details on it; the tiny pleats at the front, the little collar, and the buttons up the back... and the soft peach colour.
