Info Post
pre trip vintage cardigan Thanks SO MUCH for your entries into the giveway. It's been great reading how you would describe your style. It's not easy, is it?!

I can't believe that on Thursday I am blogging about my Saturday – last Saturday – but it's just been one of those weeks. We went out of town for lunch with family. Road trip! It was absolutely amazing and the kind of thing we really should do more of. I've got pics to share with you but I need to edit them first! So, this is part one, what I was wearing for it. My new vintage cardigan, which matches my 1950's skirt SO well (!) with my new new as in brand new shoes. Yes, I keep dressing in summer clothes and adding layers on top. I keep thinking it's not really winter yet, I'll wear my winter proper soon enough..! Of course we're half way through. Actually, today I wore a great vintage skirt that is definitely "winter" in that it is black and heavy weight. Be proud of me!

I have several posts in the works, all about things you have asked me for. I'll do that up-do video (I didn't like the one I did – made too many worried faces about my phone balancing on my tripod! – so I'll do it again), a pin curl/setting pattern post (video?), washing and caring for vintage dresses, info about my natural hair, the cut and how that relates to vintage styling, all my lipsticks and how they work with my red hair (which has gone auburn and OH how I want white blonde hair), that long-ago promised eye brow post..! There's more, too. Plenty to keep me busy. I actually really look forward to doing these, and just need to make the time to dedicate to them. Also, if there is anything you want me to post about, do let me know.

One thing that is slowing me down a bit at the moment is my main camera lens has broken, so I might have to get creative (um!) with things. There might be photobooth posts. We'll see. Thanks for reading. Hope you're having a great week! x vintage cardigan vintage 1950s skirtnew shoes
