
Years ago, Janet Ozzard was my editor at
New York Magazine. She is one of the most brilliant, funny and incisive people I've ever met: She taught me to write about what
actually matters to people, instead of what just sounds magazine-y. Her New York magazine work won like 8 billion awards (my
favorite story I've ever written was her idea), and she then worked at DailyCandy and
Lucky, and now she's the executive editor of the parenting website
