Last Friday night I wore my new crazy black and gold shoes for the first time. They are absolutely NOT for walking in, at least not for very far, but I love them all the same. I like that they are so different to my usual massive platforms, but then again they remind me of the smaller platforms Rita Hayworth wears in Gilda. They're from topshop, by the way! Can you see where I whack my ankle bones with my flat brogues?! Of all the shoes I have that end up being dangerous..! Oh and that other mark is my first mozzy bite of the season. They get me proper. Anyway, I wore these with a black 1940s dress to dinner – and I have a post abut it all soon! x
