I have new shoes! I wore them for the first time today and absolutely love them. I got them just after I got my mittens yesterday; Gorman (amazing Australian designer) was just across the road so I thought I'd go for, you know, just a quick look. A little tiny look. No actual shopping. No, not at all.
And then of course it turns out they make the shoes of my dreams, and when I try them on they are really comfortable and I just had to have them. I am SO thrilled with these. My go-to brown shoes are exhausted by life and needed replacing after four good years. These have everything I love: a platform, chunky heels, ankle straps, round toes... and closed toes! I love that they are by a local Melbourne designer, too. Perfection!
