I'm still finding that I prefer shorter lengths with full skirts in colder weather. I think it just works so much better! This one is from asos, bought when I was getting frustrated with not being able to find vintage ones. So is the cardigan, and for similar reasons! The belt is from dotti, the peach jumper is op-shopped, the shoes are by Joanne Mercer and still among my all time favourites, the tights are dear gladys and the fur is vintage. Wow, these lists are going to be long for a while! I have a few full skirts that I plan to temporarily shorten for the colder weather... sewing hems is dull but I'll be happy when they're done! Typing in the title, I remembered that I have worn this skirt on the blog once before, in much warmer weather. I love having things that can be worn all year round, and I'd love to see how other people do this. I think I'll be posting about this too!

Info Post
My outfit on Tuesday. We're having such cold dreary weather at the moment and it's so dark, almost all of the time. I think we are due some sunshine-y winter mornings! This is a bit more true to a typical Mlebourne winter day, warmth wise – the layers of silk, wool, wool blend (mmm, snuggly man-mades, ha!) and a fur collar was topped off with my vintage heavy wool coat – and I could have done with gloves, too! That reminds me, I must post this wool coat. I refer to it as blanket coat because it is like a soft warm blanket!
